Chris Sligh's new single, "Only You Can Save" is now out on radio. It is the most added song on Christian Adult Contemporary radio this week! Buy it on iTunes or Amazon. 

Chris has written a song for his unborn daughter, Keira, that will be featured in a film. The movie, "One Good Man", is due out later this year. Click here to listen to the song.

Chris has announced on Twitter that he and his wife Sarah, are expecting their first child, a baby girl, Keira Lennon Sligh, on October 18th. Congratulations Chris and Sarah!

"Here Comes Goodbye" with Rascal Flatts has been nominated in the CMT Music Awards for "Group Video of the Year". Read the article here. Chris co-wrote the song with Clint Lagerberg. The CMT Music Awards will air on June 9th at 8:00PM ET.

On April 18th, Chris performed a benefit concert on behalf of the Junior League of North Little Rock and their Heaven's Loft project. The event took place at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship in Sherwood, AR. Chris Sligh announced on Twitter last night that he has a record deal with Word Records, a major Christian label owned by Warner Bros, a major mainstream label.  A quote from Chris: "I'm sure this will come out but when I was a kid the first CCM records I ever got had the big 'ol Word W on the label..Acapella & Amy Grant. At 16 I remember dreaming of someday being a Word artist. Wow. Dream come true!" Congratulations, Chris!

Chris Sligh and Phil Stacey recently had lunch with Brian Mansfield from USATODAY/Idol Chatter. They talked about the strategies used by American Idol's producers and judges to forward their favorite contestants in the competition. Click here to read the interview.

Chris has stated that in order to move forward with his life and career, he wants to make a break from his past and distance himself from American Idol. In his blog, he discusses how his association with the show has both helped and hurt him. He now intends to refrain from discussing the show and will also be removing promotional references to it from his upcoming album and tour. Read about it on his blog here. Last night Aaron Kelly, one of the top 12 guys on American Idol, sang "Here Comes Goodbye" as his entry in the competition. This song was written by Chris Sligh and Clint Lagerberg. Watch Aaron's performance above.
